I was initially very anxious about traveling when I moved to Japan with my cat. I am not a big fan of putting my cat in pet hotels and would prefer if she could relax in the comfort of our home when I’m away.

I’m worried about letting a stranger into my home. Is it safe?
Every Fluv sitter goes through identity verification and qualification checks before joining the platform. If you’d like extra peace of mind, you can set up a pet camera at home to check in on your pet anytime. Sitters also send regular updates while you’re away.
Sitters are required to notify you upon arrival and departure. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet your sitter in person beforehand, so you can build trust before the first session. If you’re not satisfied with the service, we offer a full refund.
How do I book and pay for pet care services?
Visit the booking page to get started. Through the app, you can easily select a date, sitter, and service — then pay online instantly via card or Apple Pay. Your payment is held securely by our team until the service is confirmed complete, at which point it’s released to your sitter.

My pet is shy and takes time to warm up to people. Will Fluv still work for us?
For shy pets, we recommend arranging an in-home meet and greet beforehand. With you present, your pet can interact with the sitter in a familiar environment, which helps ease any anxiety. If you still have concerns, feel free to speak directly with your sitter to decide together whether the service is a good fit.
Please note that if your pet shows aggressive behavior, this service may not be appropriate. This policy exists to protect both your pet and your sitter, and to prevent accidents caused by excessive stress or excitement.
