1. How does the sitter get into your home when you’re away?
Through a prior home visit, the sitter can come to your home early to meet your pet for the first time, get familiar with the care environment, and note the locations of food bowls, litter boxes, and cleaning supplies — all while getting to know your pet’s personality.
During the home visit, you and the sitter can discuss how to hand over your keys. Many owners arrange this through their building’s front desk.
