[2025 Muzha & Jingmei cat hotel recommendations] Pet hotels & care services — 3 featured cat sitters (including Wanlong, Xinhai & Zoo Station) | Fluv picks

Looking for a recommended cat hotel near Jingmei, Muzha, or Wanfang Hospital in Taipei’s Wenshan District? Fluv has handpicked 3 top-rated pet sitters and cage-free cat hotels for 2025, with a full breakdown of boarding and care service fees and reviews near Xinhai, Wanlong, and Zoo Station — so you can find the most trusted care for your furry family member.

What is a pet sitter?

A pet sitter is someone who genuinely loves animals and has hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats — they come to your home and look after your pets while you’re away. This model is already hugely popular in Western countries, with platforms like Rover and PetBacker helping owners find nearby sitters. In Taiwan, Fluv offers the same kind of in-home pet sitter matching service. Compared to traditional pet hotels, using a pet sitter is a much more modern and convenient approach — your sitter comes to you, saving you the trip, and your pet stays in a familiar environment where they feel safe and stress-free.

Pet owners love the pet sitter experience. Fluv is Taiwan’s largest pet sitter platform.

Which pets are a good fit for a pet sitter?

In-home care

Your sitter comes directly to your home to care for your pet — feeding, tidying up, playtime, and regular updates to you as the owner. You can book a free meet-and-greet visit in advance so the sitter can get familiar with the space and meet your pet for the first time.

Great for cats who don’t like going out, or dogs with mobility issues. If you have multiple pets at home, in-home care is also an excellent value-for-money option that lets them stay active in their own familiar surroundings.

Pet boarding & daycare

Your pet stays at the sitter’s home and receives one-on-one care — free to roam around comfortably, with feeding, companionship, playtime, and owner updates included. It’s a cage-free, fully personalised experience.

Best suited for sociable, energetic dogs.

Long-term home care

A great alternative to pet hotels for owners who are away for an extended period. A professional sitter maintains your pet’s daily routine — and even takes them out for walks while you’re gone.

Ideal for owners with frequent or extended travel needs.

Dog walking service

Working late or something came up unexpectedly? Your dog still needs that outdoor bathroom break. A pet sitter can step in to walk them — even when you can’t make it home, your pup still gets their fresh air and exercise.

Perfect for medium to large, high-energy dogs like Huskies, mixed breeds, Border Collies, and Golden Retrievers.

Free meet-and-greet visit

Before your first booking, you can schedule a free home visit to meet your sitter, see the environment, and let your pet warm up to them. Once everyone’s comfortable, you can go ahead and book with confidence.

No matter which service you choose, your sitter will send you photos throughout — so even when you’re away from home, you can still see your little one and feel completely at ease.

Ashley provides feeding, companionship, and interactive play — plus little treats on the side! Pet sitter FAQ

1. How does the sitter get into your home when you’re not there?

Through a pre-arranged home visit, the sitter can come to your place ahead of time to meet your pet and get familiar with the care environment — where the food bowls, litter box, and cleaning supplies are — and get a feel for your pet’s personality.

During the visit, you and the sitter can work out how to hand over the keys. Many owners arrange this through their building’s front desk or concierge.

2. How are pet sitters vetted? Can I trust a stranger?

All pet sitters on Fluv are animal lovers with hands-on pet care or volunteer experience. They go through identity verification and training before joining the platform. You can also browse each sitter’s ratings and reviews through Fluv’s review system to choose someone you feel genuinely comfortable with.

3. Who is responsible if my pet gets injured?

Every booking includes insurance coverage. If an accident occurs during care, the sitter is responsible for compensation, with a deductible of NT$3,000. For any amount exceeding the deductible, Cathay Century Insurance provides additional medical cover of up to NT$15,000.

4. My pet is shy around strangers — is a pet sitter still a good option?

If your pet is on the shy or slow-to-warm-up side, a pre-arranged home visit is a great way to ease them in — letting them meet the sitter in a low-pressure setting and start building trust. If you still have concerns, the sitter and owner can discuss together whether the arrangement is a good fit.

If your pet has a history of aggression, pet sitting may not be the right match — both to keep the sitter safe and to avoid your pet getting overly stressed or worked up.

5. My pet needs medication or wound care — can a pet sitter help?

For any special medical needs, look for a sitter who lists medical care as one of their skills. You can also discuss the details directly with your sitter when booking and make sure all medical care instructions are clearly communicated.
