Do service providers need a special pet business license?
Fluv provides a pet sitting matching service and currently only charges a matching fee. It does not fall under special pet business regulations, and the relevant terms are clearly stated in our brokerage agreement. Therefore, Fluv is not subject to the Special Pets Management Regulations.
Under Article 4 of Taiwan’s Special Pets Management Regulations, breeding businesses, trading businesses, and for-profit boarding businesses must meet specific qualifications (such as veterinary certificates or relevant professional training). Fluv’s services do not fall under any of these categories. We use a rigorous vetting process to ensure our partnered sitters comply with relevant regulations, and there are no legal concerns.
