One of the biggest daily dilemmas for pet owners during this outbreak is whether to take their pets outside for a walk. Going out carries risks, but pets still need regular exercise and a chance to burn off energy. As long as you take the right precautions before and after, you can significantly reduce the risk!
1. Be mindful of your surroundings
When taking your pet out for a walk, avoid crowded areas. Make sure your pet doesn’t eat anything off the ground, and try to limit contact between your pet and other animals or people!
