Animal welfare: fostering stray animals, charity events, free listings for rescue shelters
“Letting every pet be loved” is Fluv’s founding mission — and that includes helping pets who don’t yet have a home. Since its founding, Fluv has used a portion of its revenue to help foster and rehome 45 stray animals, organized more than five large-scale charity events, provided free advertising space to support pet adoption, worked to reduce the number of stray animals in Taiwan, and continued to engage with the government on improving animal protection laws. Fluv currently works with Bark Gang on a foster-and-adoption program, provides adoption listings for SPCA Taiwan and the Stray Animal Garden, and has previously partnered with brands, artists, and KOLs — including Lara Liang, Zhou Xiaohan, Julia Wang, Anthony Neely, and Chen Yanting — for charity concerts and auction events with partners like Carousell.
An equal society: flexible employment for women returning to work, seniors, and more
Fluv provides affordable American-style pet care education to the public and creates flexible work opportunities for women returning to the workforce, seniors, students, and others — helping to close income gaps driven by gender, age, education, and background. To date, approximately 20% of Fluv’s pet sitters come from these groups. Fluv currently partners with organizations including the Zhongshan Foundation Women’s Association and Good Shepherd Holistic Care Association, and has joined the Taipei Social Innovation Lab led by Audrey Tang as well as the New Taipei City social enterprise network.
